Always good idea to paint things that you like, imho. The perfectionist in me wants the furniture to be more straight up and down with respect to the picture plane, wants angles to be percise, but that's me...I like the thick, frosting-like application of paint. Keep having fun!

that top piece is really catching, with the roses/pinks used for shadows.
