I had to come up with a painting of a world record. I don't know why I decided to make it from the 19th century. It just seemed appropriate somehow. I need to go back in and make the ears look less pasted on.
hahahaha is that val kilmer? nice sense of humor and amazing draftsmanship as always. i'm not sure how you would make those ears less pasted on...maybe if they were like weighted down a little bit or something...
also..i don't know if you care...but you got a glare in the photo...if you want better photo quality ever i would recommend taking the pieces outside and photographing them in the shade or something...or if you have studio lighting...in the studio...sorry if you already know this and were just takin a quick pic or whatev..
i've been meaning to leave a comment about this for a while now. i love this. it struck right to the heart of my fascination with ripley's believe it or not or tinker town or all that cool stuff. i'd love to see a series of these. it's hilarious and seems very nate to me.

The Kilmeresque qualities were unintentional, but maybe when I go back in to fix the ears, I'll take the Kilmer up a notch.
