nice! i think it's really good that you went away from the figure for a bit and tried something new. my favorites are the bottom watercolor one and the second from top with the mesh fence. I was trying to think of why i think those are my favs and i think it's cause the anatomy of the birds is the best in those ones. the legs on the top one look a little awkward to me and the wing on the second to bottom looks a little strange. i dunno, though...i don't know much about birds...just goin off instinct. but aweseome. i'm excited to see some of this stuff in person soon!
RAndi! sorry, all the watercolors sold i will be working on more though. check out www.brightblackart.blogspot.com for future ref. on what i have available

i love the red orange guy. he's so cute and i like that the piece itself relates to how small birds are.
ya i agree ner, thanks.
im tryin to make my mistakes now before the book appears
actually the legs on sing are little arms
i dont know why i put them there but i liked the idea....
haha,
yay, my man sold three birds in one fell swoop!
pun intended?
that last one may be my favorite, it reminds me a bit of a painting by Laura Ballance. All of these seem like strides in an interesting direction.
Randi wants to buy the red one.
