heres a new piece i have been brewing a few weeks...
the pic is a little fuzzy ,
my thinking was to make a large figure with an outfit that takes up a large space for abstraction-sake.
when that wasnt enough i added some op-elements

yo it's a nice piece. not really sure what i could say about it. one of my favorite parts is that little triangle on the lower right side...in the picture it almost looks like a window to some distant landscape which give a weird/cool effect. i think the peach colored line coming down the middle/right is a little weird. is it supposed to be anything? every time i look at the painting that's where my eyes go right away. i dunno. maybe you could dull it down or maybe take that foot part of it off at the end...so the eyes go to the face right away...

just part of the exploration process that should take a backseat to the final...was trying to mimic my drawing in another part, just an abstract little ditty.
next i am going to go back in with graphite
need to get a clearer pic
will update soon
i glazed over the whole background with gray
so everything is pushed back
feels good because it opens up a whole new space to think about...
