new painting...3rd in this series of 5. tryin' different stuff...leaving parts of
the painting unfinished kinda (in the lower left and sky of the left house) or letting
some old layers show and stuff like that like with the floor. lemmie know whachu
think.

i was thinking...
you would start putting a technical spontaneity into these.
since they are little explosions of mental unrest, it would make sense to show more of your process.
i love the idea ofleaving areas undone and in the upper right corner
the abstracty patches are a very interesting addition that seems to flatten that area.
the portrait is so interesting..
more ideas...
making some areas super thick and other areas thin and unkempt/sketched.
tight brush vs. loose
you already contrast local color and abstract color with natural lighting.
the distance and foreground is amazing.
i like when you lean toward neutrals and have areas of saturated color.
